PERMIT PLANS

The renovation of the vineyard shed with added service spaces, so that it can serve a new purpose, follows the concept of adding new to the existing in a very clear manner. The concept is shown to the outside as an added volume, which, along the entire floor plan, fits within the existing dimensions of the space, while a part of it remains outside. The outer part is exactly that, which is added to the autochthonous architecture of the shed - the service spaces.

The new volume is clad with a wooden facade. The gap between the new and the old roof, which remains covered with old tiles, is clearly shown. Visually the object against the road remains unchanged. The shutter is thus treated with vertical wooden boards, which, with a slight inclination towards the west, catch the afternoon sun and cover a new window. The space inside the old volume remains single-celled, as it has always in the typical vineyard sheds.
